Technical Specifications
TESA SCAN devices are furnished with high resolution linear CCD sensors, made up by 14,000 pixel lines. The piece gets scanned by a parallel green light beam and its image is projected on the sensors who survey the information, permitting an accurate analysis of its geometric characteristics.
Particularity
A particularity of the TESA system is the orientation of the linear sensors which guarantee the exact acquisition of the points which determine diameters, corners, and other geometrical elements on parallel or inclined surfaces. With all TESA SCAN devices it is possible to obtain the exact thread profile.
